With the rapid development of the South American electric vehicle market, the client plans to introduce ultrasonic metal welding technology to improve the welding quality and production efficiency of battery tabs. **Purpose of Visit** The client had previously been using traditional resistance welding, which suffered from issues such as inconsistent weld points, excessive spatter, and easy damage to electrode sheets. After learning about the technical advantages of ultrasonic welding at industry exhibitions, the client proactively contacted us, hoping to inspect the equipment performance and production capabilities on-site. **On-Site Communication** The client's technical team of three visited our ultrasonic division in Longgang, Shenzhen. First, they had an in-depth discussion about our technical strength, industry experience, and customer cases. Our technical staff detailed the application experience and process control points of ultrasonic metal welding in the battery industry. **Equipment Demonstration** In the ultrasonic division's laboratory, we demonstrated the welding effects of the YN-D206G and YN-X203-Y models on battery tabs (multi-layer copper foil + aluminum foil electrode sheets) for the Brazilian client. After trial welding with the client's own samples, the shear force test results of the weld points far exceeded their expected standards, and the client highly recognized the welding consistency and stability. **Cooperation Achieved** Before the end of the visit, both parties signed an equipment purchase letter of intent and a subsequent long-term technical cooperation agreement. The initial order includes 5 units of the YN-D206G equipment for upgrading the battery tab welding production line at their São Paulo factory. We also provide one-week on-site installation, commissioning, and operation training services.
