8. Can sample testing be provided?
Yes. Winna Technology offers free sample soldering testing services. Customers can mail their samples to our laboratory, where we will complete the soldering and provide a test report (including pull force data, cross-section photos, etc.). The sample testing cycle is 1-3 working days.
9. Advantages of ultrasonic welding vs. traditional welding?
Advantages of ultrasonic welding: ① Solid-state connection, no solder/flux, environmentally friendly and pollution-free; ② Short welding time (0.1-0.5 seconds per cycle), high efficiency; ③ Extremely low interface resistance, excellent conductivity; ④ No preheating or post-processing required, simple process; ⑤ No sparks/fumes, safe and reliable; ⑥ Suitable for dissimilar metal connections (copper-aluminum).
10. What is the difference between wire harness terminal welding and crimping?▼
Terminal crimping uses mechanical deformation to fix the wire and terminal, relying on physical clamping force for conductivity; ultrasonic welding achieves molecular bonding of metals, resulting in lower interface resistance. Welded joints are not affected by terminal material (direct copper-to-copper welding is possible) and do not produce crimping burrs. The new energy vehicle industry is increasingly adopting welding to replace crimping.
